Today I stumbled across the boxart for the Japanese version of Super Turrican on the SNES and it's... something. :blobastonished:


For comparison's sake, this is the Western version, which basically just uses the art for Turrican II: The Final Fight.

@Jo Love how the box art for Western releases of 16 bit games were... never great.

@Jo The TurboGrafx 16 is an object lesson in how the USA should never be trusted to make art for Japanese releases, but I don't think I have to tell you this.

@craigmaloney Ah yeah, love Bomberman, the hero who has a heart attack while weakly lobbing bombs with his phenomenally short arm. :blob_laughing:
